Sketches of people from past and present

I’m terrible at remembering names. My solution is a slilghtly tangential one, I make time for looking at faces and I make a mental note of the shape of eyebrows and the light falling across a nose. I treat the pursuit of documenting local life with a street photographers aesthetic, catching a fleeting moment and recording it in my sketchbook.
